Citizens from Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi do not require a visa. Ethiopian citizens fall under the deferred visa category and will require to apply 30 days before arrival.

Is yellow fever vaccination mandatory?

A valid yellow fever certificate is requirement from for all foreign visitors and citizens over 1 year of age travelling from an infected area or having been in transit through infected areas (12 hours) in the last 6 days.

Do I need Covid19 test or certificate?

If you are fully vaccinated you do not need to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination, however, upon arrival thermal and physical screening will be done. Visitors entering or transiting mainland Tanzania or Zanzibar are not required to present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate or test certificate unless required by their airline, transit destination, or final destination. The Tanzania Ministry of Health released “ Travel Advisory #12  ” effective January 12, 2023, with updated entry and exit requirements for travelers to mainland Tanzania.
